Applied Inverse Problems Conference - Equipment and Facilities
May 23-27, 2011 – Blocker Building, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas
All rooms have an installed projector (beamer) run from a desktop. It is also possible to drive this from a laptop although we would ask that speakers take the first option unless there are specific reasons. To make this easier we ask that all speakers either have their talk on a memory stick or send the file to the conference organizer at least a day in advance.
Some minisymposia/special session rooms have conventional blackboards, others have white boards with markers. These are classrooms so in all cases it is possible to give a "blackboard talk."
If you require other equipment, please notify the organizer a few days in advance of your talk.
During the conference period there will be wireless access using the Texas A&M campus-wide network. All registered participants will be given a username and password at registration.
For those not bringing a laptop, access will be available from one of the Department of Mathematics computing labs located also on the first floor of Blocker. You will have to request an account at registration.
All the listed hotels have free internet as part of the room price.
