Abstract: Many statistical problems are inverse problems in natural. This session will showcase some recent development on statistical inverse problems, including parameter estimation of differential equations, semiparametric dimension reduction techniques, reconstruction of neural activities using MEG, and modeling of spatially correlated functional data.
